The rules for using MockCam, how refunds work, and how to reach us about content. Last updated 29 September 2026.
Terms of use
MockCam is run by Appic Marketing LLC ("we"). By using mockcam.com, the studio or a MockCam account you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Your account
You can use the studio without an account. An account needs a working email address. You must be at least 13, and if you're under 18 you need a parent's or guardian's permission. Keep access to your email safe, because it is how you sign in. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Your content
Screenshots, images and videos you bring in stay yours, and so do the shots you export. Rendering happens in your browser. When you save to the cloud camera roll, create a share link or post to the showcase, you give us permission to store, process and show that content only as needed to run those features. You can delete it at any time.
Only upload content you have the right to use. Don't use MockCam for anything illegal, for content that infringes someone else's rights, for sexual content involving minors, for harassment or hate, or to deceive people (for example, fake app screenshots used for fraud).
The showcase
Showcase posts are public. We may hide or remove posts that break these terms or that people report, and we may suspend accounts that keep doing so.
Plans and limits
The free plan is for personal use and includes a weekly number of captures and videos. Free videos carry a small mockcam.com mark. Paid plans raise the limits, remove the mark and add a commercial licence for your exports. Limits and features are listed on the pricing page and can change; if a change makes your paid plan worse, it applies from your next billing period.
Don't try to get around limits or access controls, scrape the service, or put heavy automated load on it.
The 3D models and names
Device models are provided to make mockups inside MockCam. You can use the images and videos you export, but not extract or resell the models themselves. Device names describe the models; they are trademarks of their owners, and MockCam is not affiliated with them.
Changes and availability
We keep improving MockCam, so features change. We try to keep it running but can't promise it will always be available or error free. The service is provided "as is", without warranties, to the extent the law allows. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. This doesn't take away consumer rights you have under the law where you live.
Ending
You can stop using MockCam and delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. We'll update these terms when things change and show the date at the top; for important changes to paid plans we'll email you first.
Refund policy
- You can cancel a paid plan at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you won't be charged again.
- If MockCam isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of your first payment and we'll refund it in full.
- Renewals after the first payment aren't refunded, except where the law requires it or something went wrong on our side (for example, a double charge).
- To ask for a refund, email support@mockcam.com from the address on your account.
Reporting content and takedown (DMCA)
To report a showcase post, use the Report button on the post. If you believe content on MockCam infringes your copyright, email support@mockcam.com with:
- the link to the content;
- the work you believe is infringed;
- your name and contact details;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised, and that the information in your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We'll remove or disable the content and let the person who posted it know. If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake, reply to our email with a counter-notice.
